B4&After is an Architectural design firm that specializes in designing thoughtfully planned renovations. We can help you with everything from coming up with creative schematic design ideas for simple interior or exterior design changes to developing a complete set of construction drawings for a major renovation and addition. As the process moves forward, you’ll receive your B4&After Design Binder that you can use throughout your renovation project. This comprehensive binder includes everything you’ll need to help you organize, understand, and take control of your renovation project.

In-Office Consultation - FREE

This is a casual one to two hour meeting in our studio where we get to learn about you and what you have in mind and you get to learn more about us and who we are. We will listen to your ideas and help you establish the goals and scope of the project while taking into account the available budget, code and building regulations, and design expectations.

On-Site Consultation - $400

We will meet with you to discuss design ideas and sketch design solutions on the spot. We can answer your questions about probable cost and construction alternatives for various home improvement projects. Schematic Design and Feasibility Study - RANGE: $1000 - $4500

The first step in any renovation design is obtaining accurate existing conditions drawings. We measure and photograph your home and produce a computerized floor plan and, if required, a 3D computer massing model. Then we develop a schematic design that meets your needs and an Opinion of Probable Cost that will help you determine the feasibility of the project. We organize all the relevant drawings and information into a B4&After Renovation Report and meet with you again to carefully go through it. Construction Drawings - RANGE: 3% to 10% of Construction Costs

B4&After will fully develop the design in order to balance the cost, time, and scope of the project before construction begins. Once the schematic design is complete, we meet with you and/or your builder to review exactly what kind of drawing set needs to be produced. We can customize the set so that you and your builder get exactly the information you will need to renovate or add on to your home.
